Medical Disclaimer
Please read this before using any medical information on this website to make a decision.
This website describes treatments, costs, hospitals and recovery experiences to help you plan. It is health information, not health care. Nothing on these pages — including treatment guides, cost comparisons, blog articles and patient stories — is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a recommendation to undergo or avoid any treatment.
1. Content is general, your case is specific
Two patients with the same diagnosis can need completely different treatments, and the same procedure can have different risks depending on age, other conditions, previous surgeries and overall fitness. Only a qualified doctor who has examined you and your reports can tell you what applies to your body. Before acting on anything you read here, discuss it with your treating doctor — at home or through one of the consultations we arrange.
2. Costs and success rates
The cost ranges and success rates shown on treatment pages are typical figures for established, accredited hospitals in India. They are planning figures, not quotations, and they can change with new technology, exchange rates and your specific clinical situation. An outcome percentage describes large groups of past patients; it is never a promise about one person.
3. Emergencies
This website is not for emergencies. If you or someone with you has severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, heavy bleeding, signs of a stroke, a high fever in a newborn, or any condition that could worsen while you wait, contact your local emergency number or the nearest emergency department immediately, wherever you are.
4. Travelling for treatment
Long flights carry real medical risks after some surgeries and conditions — including blood clots and pressure changes after eye, chest or ear procedures. Whether and when you are fit to fly is a medical decision made by your doctor, sometimes requiring a fitness-to-fly certificate. Never book long-haul travel against medical advice.
5. Telemedicine
Video consultations arranged through us are provided by registered doctors under India's Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. The doctor decides what can responsibly be done remotely and when an in-person examination is necessary. A remote consultation is not a substitute for physical examination, laboratory tests or imaging when those are needed.
6. Medicines
Rules on carrying medicines into India — and on taking Indian-prescribed medicines back home — differ between countries and change over time. Some medicines that are common in India are controlled substances elsewhere. Always confirm your medicines with the treating hospital and your home country's embassy before you travel, and carry prescriptions in their original packaging.
7. Hospital and doctor listings
Profiles of hospitals and doctors are compiled from information provided by the institutions and practitioners themselves, along with publicly available credentials. We verify accreditations before listing a partner and re-check them annually, but qualifications, affiliations and availability can change. Confirm any detail that matters to your decision directly with the hospital.
