About Grace Care India
We are a medical travel team, not a booking website.
Why we exist
Every year hundreds of thousands of people travel for treatment they cannot get, cannot afford, or cannot wait for at home. Most of them navigate visas, hospitals and unfamiliar cities alone. Grace Care India exists so that no patient has to do that.
Grace Care India began because families crossing borders for surgery were being asked to make the biggest medical decision of their lives on the basis of a WhatsApp message and an unexplained price. We wanted the opposite: a written second opinion from a named surgeon, a cost estimate that lists what is and is not included, and one person who answers the phone from the first enquiry until the last follow-up a year after discharge.
Today we work with accredited multi-speciality hospitals across India and coordinate care for patients from Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia and Europe. Cardiac surgery, oncology, transplants, orthopaedics, neurosurgery and fertility make up most of what we do — treatments where the choice of surgeon and the quality of intensive care matter more than the brochure.
How a Grace Care India journey works
1. Share your reports
Upload scans, discharge summaries and blood work securely. A medical coordinator reads them the same working day and asks for anything missing.
2. Free written opinion
Two or three suitable surgeons review the case. You receive their written plan, the expected length of stay and an itemised cost range — with no pressure to travel.
3. Video consultation
Speak to the surgeon directly, with an interpreter if you need one, before you commit to anything.
4. Visa and travel
We arrange the hospital invitation letter, embassy paperwork, flights, airport pickup and accommodation near the hospital for you and your attendants.
5. Treatment and stay
Your coordinator meets you at the hospital, sits in on admission, checks the daily bill and keeps your family at home updated.
6. Follow-up for a year
You fly home with a translated discharge pack, scheduled video reviews with your surgeon and help sourcing medicines locally.
How we choose hospitals and surgeons
- • JCI or NABH accreditation, verified and re-checked every year.
- • Consultant-led intensive care with 24-hour cover, not resident-only cover overnight.
- • Surgeons with a minimum of ten years of independent practice in the specific procedure.
- • Published infection-control and outcome audits for the unit, not just the hospital.
- • A written, itemised estimate before admission and a named billing contact for families.
- • Interpreter and international-desk support that exists in practice, not only on paper.
How we are paid, and what that means for you
Our service is free for patients. Hospitals pay us a coordination fee out of their existing international-patient budget, and that fee does not change with the treatment you choose.
You pay the hospital directly, at their published rate, against their invoice. We never handle your treatment money, never add a margin to a quotation and never recommend a costlier hospital because it pays more. If a cheaper hospital is the better clinical choice, that is the one we put in front of you.
We also tell you when travelling is the wrong idea — when the treatment is available safely at home, when the case is too unstable to fly, or when the honest answer is palliative care.
How we work
Written estimates, always
Every quote lists what is included and what is not, on the same page, before you travel.
Volume over marketing
We recommend surgeons on the number of procedures they perform each year and their published outcomes.
Your language, your coordinator
One named person who speaks your language stays with your case from the first message to the last follow-up.
Free for patients
Our partner hospitals compensate us. Your price is never increased because you came through us.
